This comprehensive program, approved by Yoga Alliance, was created by Dallas based instructors Amy Johnson (200 ERYT) and Adri Kyser (500 ERYT). With like styles, they emphasize fluid motion in their Vinyasa instruction and enjoy drawing from a variety mentors to create a unique, all-encompassing flow they call Maha Shakti. Maha Shakti Flow or “boundless energy” is the result of merging multiple styles of yoga. Influenced by premier yogis like Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, Sri Dharma Mittra and Ana Forrest, this creative, contemporary style of yoga encourages students to explore the physical and emotional sensations of a pose while moving through it fluidly—allowing freedom to reside in a pose.
During this 200-hour Maha Shakti Flow Program, you will learn proper structural and energetic alignment of asanas, eastern and western anatomy and physiology, as well as history, philosophy including the Bhagavad Gita, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and more.
Unlike other teacher training programs, we offer over 20 classroom practice hours giving you plenty opportunities to lead fellow students through sun salutations, series of poses and fluid sequences. You will learn how to design multi level classes, to break poses down from simplest to most challenging, address special cases like prenatal yoga and more. The Maha Shakti Flow 200-hour Teacher Training program is divided into three modules. Each module is 5 weeks long with a 4- 6 week break in between.

Cost for three modules: $2195 * cost of books not included
A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to register in the program. The deposit will be applied towards the tuition cost. Once the teacher training starts no refunds will be issued.
